Properties are large and neighbors are spread out, so a water slide is often the biggest attraction at a Felda family party — and there is almost always room for it. Many families here host big gatherings at home because the property is the venue. A slide turns a hot afternoon into the kind of party kids talk about for the rest of the summer. Felda Community Center and Park at 55 N Willis Ranch Road is a five-acre county park with a 3,750 square foot community center and a playground, booked through Hendry County Special Districts on (863) 675-5220. Felda residents are also eligible to rent LaBelle's city facilities including the Civic Center and Barron Park, which is worth knowing if you need something bigger. ## Yard space and setup in Felda With lots of land, the main job is picking the right spot: flat, mowed grass free of fire-ant mounds, away from ditches and canals, and within reach of power or a generator. Long sandy driveways and grove roads are common, so tell us where the truck can park and how far it is to the setup spot. Large agricultural and ranch parcels. Space is almost never the constraint here; power usually is. Our team sets up every rental, anchors it correctly for the surface, and returns for pickup at the end of your rental period. ## Heat, sun and water tips for Felda Inland Felda heat is strong and shade is limited away from the house. Schedule the slide for morning or late afternoon, set up a canopy, keep water bottles on ice and give everyone regular breaks. Most Felda homes are on wells. A slide needs only a garden hose at a steady, moderate flow. Direct runoff away from the septic field and the house. ## Permits, HOAs and host rules Private parties on your own property in rural Hendry County generally do not need a permit for a rental inflatable. Church or community properties set their own rules, so ask the host first. - Hendry County government: https://www.hendryfla.net/ ## Delivery to Felda Free delivery within 5 miles of our Lehigh Acres shop · $2/mile after. Delivery windows are confirmed the day before your event. Two things matter for a Felda booking. First, add a generator — on acreage properties the nearest outlet is often nowhere near where you want the unit, and a blower needs continuous power for the whole rental. Second, tell us about the driveway and the gate. Properties spread along SR-29 and the county roads, and the distance from the road to the setup spot varies a lot. ## Choosing the right slide for your Felda yard We currently rent 12 water slides, from the 17' Baja Blast Single Lane up to the 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment. Single-lane slides (17' Baja Blast Single Lane, 22' CAT 3 Single Lane, 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment) fit tighter Felda yards and younger riders. Dual-lane slides let two kids race side by side and keep the line moving at bigger parties. Slides with a slip n slide attachment (24' Jawsome Dual Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment, 26' Lava Falls Dual Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment, 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment) need the most open length, so measure carefully before you choose one. The height in each slide's name is a good first guide: taller slides need more open ground and clear overhead space, and they suit older kids. Each product page lists the full dimensions — compare them against your measured grass, leaving a few feet on every side for the crew to work and for guests to walk around. ## How a Felda water slide rental works Choose your slide and check your date online. When you reserve, a deposit holds the slide and the remaining balance is due at or before delivery. The day before your party we confirm your delivery window. On the day, our crew arrives at your Felda address, walks the setup spot with you, lays down a ground tarp, inflates and anchors the slide, and connects the water. We show an adult how to run the hose and the blower and go over the rider rules. After the party, we deflate, clean up and haul everything away. Keep an adult watching the slide the whole time it is in use, and clear it right away for lightning or strong wind. Not sure a slide is the right fit? Our crew delivers to your Felda address, sets up and anchors the slide, connects the blower and shows you how to run the water, then comes back to deflate and pick it up. ### What happens if it rains on our Felda water slide party? If severe weather is forecast, you may reschedule your reservation for a future date. Inflatables cannot be operated safely during lightning or in strong, gusting wind conditions.
