Most Gateway slide parties are at home in the backyard, or at a church or school nearby with the host's permission. Gateway's amenities are a mix. Fun Park and Linear Park are open to the general public, while the Commons Pool, dog park and Sherman Soccer Complex are resident-priority or paid for non-residents. One rule matters directly to you: Sherman Soccer Complex at 13260 Griffin Drive has reservable picnic shelters but states that commercial activity is not allowed without prior approval — so get that approval before booking a party with a rental vendor there. Confirm your own HOA's inflatable policy and the District's rules on (239) 561-1313. ## Yard space and setup in Gateway Gateway homes often have a pool cage and a lake behind them. Measure open grass in the back and side yards, mark sprinkler heads and keep the landing pool well away from the lake bank. Side yards between homes can be narrow, so check the path from the driveway for the crew. Lots here are smaller and far more manicured than a Lehigh Acres lot. Homes are built around lakes and fairways rather than canals. Sod yards stake cleanly. Measure your usable backyard against the unit dimensions before you book, because the larger dual-lane slides need more clearance than a typical Gateway backyard has. Our team sets up every rental, anchors it correctly for the surface, and returns for pickup at the end of your rental period. ## Heat, sun and water tips for Gateway The neighborhood trees are maturing but backyards are often sunny. Start early, put a canopy next to the landing pool and keep water bottles at the ladder. Afternoon summer storms are routine. Use a drinking-water spigot at moderate flow — not an irrigation connection, since community irrigation often uses reclaimed water. ## Permits, HOAs and host rules Gateway is in unincorporated Lee County with HOA governance. Check your neighborhood's rules on temporary inflatables, setup hours and parking, and add us to any gate list. - JetBlue Park: https://www.mlb.com/redsox/spring-training/ballpark - Lee County Parks & Recreation: https://www.leegov.com/parks - Lee County government: https://www.leegov.com/ ## Delivery to Gateway Free delivery within 5 miles of our Lehigh Acres shop · $2/mile after. Delivery windows are confirmed the day before your event. Expect to give us a gate code, a call-box name, or to meet the crew at the entrance. This is the single most common cause of a delayed setup in Gateway. During Red Sox spring training in February and March, Daniels Parkway traffic on game days can add real time to a delivery window. ## Choosing the right slide for your Gateway yard We currently rent 12 water slides, from the 17' Baja Blast Single Lane up to the 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment. Single-lane slides (17' Baja Blast Single Lane, 22' CAT 3 Single Lane, 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment) fit tighter Gateway yards and younger riders. Dual-lane slides let two kids race side by side and keep the line moving at bigger parties. Slides with a slip n slide attachment (24' Jawsome Dual Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment, 26' Lava Falls Dual Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment, 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment) need the most open length, so measure carefully before you choose one. The height in each slide's name is a good first guide: taller slides need more open ground and clear overhead space, and they suit older kids. Each product page lists the full dimensions — compare them against your measured grass, leaving a few feet on every side for the crew to work and for guests to walk around. ## How a Gateway water slide rental works Choose your slide and check your date online. When you reserve, a deposit holds the slide and the remaining balance is due at or before delivery. The day before your party we confirm your delivery window. On the day, our crew arrives at your Gateway address, walks the setup spot with you, lays down a ground tarp, inflates and anchors the slide, and connects the water. We show an adult how to run the hose and the blower and go over the rider rules. After the party, we deflate, clean up and haul everything away. Keep an adult watching the slide the whole time it is in use, and clear it right away for lightning or strong wind. Not sure a slide is the right fit? If the back slopes, the side or front yard may work; send dimensions and we will help. ### How much does a water slide rental cost in Gateway? Our water slides currently start at $230 and go up to $650 for a one-day rental, depending on the slide. Delivery to Gateway from about $30 — exact fee calculated from your address at checkout. Sales tax and the optional damage waiver are shown at checkout. ### Is setup included with a water slide rental in Gateway? Yes. Our crew delivers to your Gateway address, sets up and anchors the slide, connects the blower and shows you how to run the water, then comes back to deflate and pick it up. ### What happens if it rains on our Gateway water slide party? If severe weather is forecast, you may reschedule your reservation for a future date. Inflatables cannot be operated safely during lightning or in strong, gusting wind conditions.
