Summer birthdays, church picnics and school-year-end parties are where water slides show up most here, usually at home or on church grounds. The City of LaBelle rents the Civic Center, the Captain Hendry House and Barron Park, all requiring liability insurance and a sheriff's department security agreement, with an additional crowd-management certification for events running over six hours. Vargas Rentals carries liability insurance. Their published policy also extends rental eligibility to residents of Port LaBelle, Fort Denaud, Felda and Muse. Current rates are Civic Center $2,687.50, Captain Hendry House $537.50, Barron Park $268.75, booked through the Utility Billing Department on (863) 675-2872. Inflatable rules are not published — call the city before you book. The Hendry-LaBelle Recreation Board separately runs LaBelle Civic Park, LaBelle Sports Park and Alton Kid Jones Park. ## Yard space and setup in LaBelle Older in-town lots have mature oaks with low branches — keep the slide in the open, with clear space overhead. Rural lots offer room but may need a generator and a check for fire-ant mounds and soft spots after rain. Measure the slide's footprint plus a walking path around it. Historic in-town lots around the courthouse district, surrounded by rural Hendry ranch and citrus land. In town, yards are modest and mature; outside town, acreage and long approaches are the norm. Our team sets up every rental, anchors it correctly for the surface, and returns for pickup at the end of your rental period. ## Heat, sun and water tips for LaBelle LaBelle heat is strong inland, with afternoon storms most summer days. Morning parties are best; use tree shade for seating and keep the slide sunny and wet. City water works well at a medium flow; rural homes on wells should run the hose moderately. Point runoff away from the house and septic field. ## Permits, HOAs and host rules Private home parties in the City of LaBelle or unincorporated Hendry County generally do not need a permit for a rental slide. For church, school or park events, ask the host about inflatables and insurance first. - City of LaBelle: https://www.citylabelle.com/ - Hendry County government: https://www.hendryfla.net/ ## Delivery to LaBelle Free delivery within 5 miles of our Lehigh Acres shop · $2/mile after. Delivery windows are confirmed the day before your event. If your address is outside the city proper, tell us about the driveway. Ranch roads and unpaved approaches are common in the surrounding county and we would rather bring the right vehicle. Note that Port LaBelle is technically a separate community next door — use its own name when you book so we route correctly. ## Choosing the right slide for your LaBelle yard We currently rent 12 water slides, from the 17' Baja Blast Single Lane up to the 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment. Single-lane slides (17' Baja Blast Single Lane, 22' CAT 3 Single Lane, 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment) fit tighter LaBelle yards and younger riders. Dual-lane slides let two kids race side by side and keep the line moving at bigger parties. Slides with a slip n slide attachment (24' Jawsome Dual Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment, 26' Lava Falls Dual Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment, 31' CAT 5 Single Lane w/ Slip n Slide Attachment) need the most open length, so measure carefully before you choose one. The height in each slide's name is a good first guide: taller slides need more open ground and clear overhead space, and they suit older kids. Each product page lists the full dimensions — compare them against your measured grass, leaving a few feet on every side for the crew to work and for guests to walk around. ## How a LaBelle water slide rental works Choose your slide and check your date online. When you reserve, a deposit holds the slide and the remaining balance is due at or before delivery. The day before your party we confirm your delivery window. On the day, our crew arrives at your LaBelle address, walks the setup spot with you, lays down a ground tarp, inflates and anchors the slide, and connects the water. We show an adult how to run the hose and the blower and go over the rider rules. After the party, we deflate, clean up and haul everything away. Keep an adult watching the slide the whole time it is in use, and clear it right away for lightning or strong wind. Not sure a slide is the right fit?
