How much wind is too much wind?

Inflatables cannot be operated in strong or gusting wind conditions. This is a manufacturer and safety-standard limit, not a preference. If winds exceed that during your rental, riders must exit the unit and the blower must be turned off until conditions settle.

Clear the unit immediately, unplug the blower, and move everyone indoors. Do not re-enter the inflatable until at least 30 minutes after the last thunder. Wet vinyl is slippery, so let the surface dry before play resumes.

Before your event date

We watch the forecast for every reservation. If severe weather is forecast, you may reschedule your booking for a future available date — reach out before your scheduled delivery window so our crew can review the reservation. Rescheduling is the documented weather option when conditions are unsafe.

On delivery day

Our team will not set up an inflatable during active lightning, sustained winds in strong or gusting wind, or in standing water. If those conditions are present when we arrive, we will talk through your options on site: wait out the cell if it is passing, or reschedule. Once a unit is installed and the rental has begun, the reservation is considered delivered.

While the rental is in use

• Exit the unit and shut off the blower at the first sign of lightning or high wind.
• Never leave an inflatable inflated and unattended during a storm.
• Do not remove stakes, sandbags or anchoring for any reason.
• Wait 30 minutes after the last thunder before restarting the blower.
• Towel down slides and bounce floors before play resumes after rain.

Wet units are still safe when used correctly — the risk is slipping, not the inflatable itself. Water slides are designed to be wet; dry bounce houses are not, so keep hoses away from anything not rented as a wet unit.
